Wheeling and Dealing

Posted in - I will take inspiration any place I can find it on February 19th 2014 17 Comments

I have been a waitress from the age of sixteen to till the age of thirty one. I quit my last waitress job almost two months ago. I felt relieved at first because I knew that ship has sailed. I needed to step outside my comfort zone and try something new. Of course at first I panicked. I had no idea what I was going to do and I did not have a plan. Then it hit me right smack in the face. I come from a family of wheeler and dealers. My Mother was a costume jewelry dealer for over twenty years. She would take used jewelry restore it to awesomeness and re-sell it at a higher price. I grew up in Flee-markets and thrift stores. I witnessed my Mother become successful at it and I knew I could make a living doing something similar.  As soon as I quit my job I started buying second hand books at thrift stores and re-selling them for a profit. I have always been fascinated with books and I am an avid reader. I have sold at least fifteen books in the last month and have made a profit.  My Mother would always tell me to check and see if I have anything valuable. I would always laugh at her when I was younger and would not care. Now I realize my Mother was onto something. I check out everything and see what it is worth.  These days I am on the hunt for the next deal. Hey one May never know what golden little nugget they will find lying around. I am liking this new adventure I am on and I will see where it goes from here.

Its all about living off the grid. Everything has a value if you can find a buyer! I bought a book from a self published author. Later he published a New York Times bestseller. My self published fifteen dollar paperback suddenly was worth four hundred and fifty dollars. Biggest win yet!

I love that saying refabulize. I have to put that in my repertoire of things to say. Clever one. No pain no gain. =)

    Ascending Attitudes New Possibilities

We are living in the greatest era in the history of time. I have so much to give — so much inside of me trying to get out.

Ideas thoughts possibilities — and the need to express my admiration for those around me.

What is it that holds me back? What is it that ties me down? How do I break out and be who I am meant to be?

Opportunity is in abundant supply. The time is now. The key to my destiny is in my hand. I’m ready to walk through the door.

If I can think it I can believe it. And if I can believe it I can achieve it. This is me. I am expressing who I am and reaching out to those I care about.

This is the life I am meant to live. This is who I am supposed to be. Celebrating my connections with kindred spirits — knowing that relationships are everything.

Tributes to life must be paid while people are living. Greatness takes place when we are giving. Moments in time captured to nourish souls.

And through it all the genius in me shines when I celebrate the genius in you. I must reach out letting others know that they matter that I do care that appreciation is pure energy — the kind that takes me to new heights gives me bigger dreams and allows me to make a difference.

In business I must take this new attitude this new philosophy and show those I work with that I truly care. The transaction is merely what brought us together.

With today’s technology there must be a way — a way for me to tap into who I am and give myself to the world; a way to celebrate life to share in gratitude and to show others that they too can take part of this kind of movement.

Ascending attitudes and emerging technologies: This is what creates a revolution in business and in life. Think of the vast possibilities. What if we could revolutionize an industry? What if we could share in the wealth it creates? What if this possibility leveraged our giving hearts but also rewarded us for sharing this movement with others?

Is it possible that this could create a global gathering of positive happy people?

Today is the day we bring you that possibility.
